Computer Classes at Derfelt Senior Center

Computer Classes are starting in September 2004, the 7th and 8th, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Instructors Ginger and Phil Edwards will be conducting the two hour classes that run for four weeks.

The classes are:
INTRODUCTION TO THE COMPUTER
BEGINNING WORD
INTERMEDIATE WORD
ADVANCED WORD
THE INTERNET

The classes will meet one day per week for four weeks each month. Class will be two hours long. The first hour and a half will be a planned lesson. The last half hour will be open for help, review, and to answer questions.

A well-detailed, illustrated, lesson will be supplied to each student for each class.

Upon completion of each four-week session, certificates will be awarded.

The price per session is $24, payable the first day of class, and is nonrefundable. Space is limited and advanced registration is required.

Special Classes
In those months that have a 5th day or as time and space allow, we will have special classes $3 an hour. A lesson will be supplied to each student for that class except the craft classes, as we will be working from floppy disks. These classes will include:

COMPUTER CRAFTS
COMPUTER UPKEEP
WRITER’S WORKSHOP
ENVELOPES & LABELS IN WORD
