Verbotomy Word Game

Verbotomyis a create-a-word game. Go to the News/Help tab on the menu along the top of the page to find the How to Play section. They provide you with a definition and an image and from that, you make up a word. Then you vote on the words that make the most sense or that you find to be the funniest. You get two votes, but you can’t vote for your own.

To submit entries you need to register, then you’re ready to play. When you submit your word, you can provide the following: pronunciation, etymology and sentence.

Underneath the image of the day, you see the links Create and Read. Create will take you to the page to create a word. Read will let you read the other entries for the same definition/picture you submitted. Each entry will have a link where you can vote and comment on the word you’re reading about.
