MUVA, the Virtual Museum of Art, has been conceived as a dynamic, interactive museum bringing together the most renowned works of contemporary Uruguayan art, an important contributor to Latin American art. MUVA makes it possible to get to know little-explored, often almost inaccessible areas. It allows viewers to reach works in artists’ studios and in private collections, including from the youngest artists to the masters. It likewise makes available a broad spectrum of Uruguay’s artistic creativity.

Get ready for a true virtual tour. The museum, designed to house the best of art, is also a viewer-friendly architectural destination. A surprise awaits you at every turn.
